Education and Training
Sauti Kuu supports young people by sourcing financial assistance to ensure they complete their education. This is done through sponsorship of school fees and higher education in college or university (Further Education). In addition to this Sauti Kuu provides tuition, extra-curricular learning programs, career advice, guidance and counselling. During the tuition, Sauti Kuu also operates a feeding program.
Sauti Kuu also works with the surrounding local schools to support education and learning through various clubs such as Spelling Bee, Reading Club and others.
The Sauti Kuu Vocational Training Project, Skilled Crafts For Future, was kicked off in 2021. The project offers vocational training to up to 120 young people in 8 vocational trades.
The objective of the Education and Training project is to combat youth unemployment by supporting and promoting learning and school attendance while also focusing on employability and entry into the labor market.
