SKF ISD – Sixt Kitchen Project

The SKF ISD – Sixt Kitchen Project, funded by the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation, aims to install a fully equipped, high-quality kitchen at the Sauti Kuu Foundation's Resource Center, located within the SKF Sports Resource and Vocational Training Centre (SRVTC).

The project involves setting up quality kitchen equipment and appliances, followed by comprehensive training for staff on their proper use.

This initiative seeks to enhance community well-being by providing nutritional education and cooking lessons, helping beneficiaries make healthier dietary choices and so fostering good eating habits. This is especially important in Siaya County, where Sauti Kuu operates, as malnutrition remains a significant issue affecting children's growth.

The new kitchen will also provide meals during Sauti Kuu program activities. In line with Sauti Kuu’s mission to promote sustainable food production, the kitchen will prioritize using locally sourced produce for meal preparation.

Our deepest gratitude goes to Regine Sixt and the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation for their support. Danke schon! Thank you! Asante! Erokamano!

Stay tuned for more updates on the SKF ISD – Sixt Kitchen Project as we strive to build a healthier future for our beneficiaries.
